How it Works

This is when we gather information about what happened, how it happened, and gather your past health history to help guide our physical exam.

  • Range of motion examination
  • Nerve testing to find which nerves are causing pain
  • Muscle testing to isolate aching, tight, or spastic muscles
  • Testing to detect which joints are limiting mobility

If you have never tried chiropractic treatment before, check out the answers to our most frequently asked questions below.

Chiropractic treatments are safe for all ages, including babies, children, and teens. We use non-invasive, evidence-based techniques to relieve joint pain and pressure, release tension, and support your body’s natural healing process. Studies on chiropractic medicine consistently show that treatments are both safe and effective.

You shouldn’t experience pain during your adjustments. Most patients feel a sense of relief and look forward to their appointments. While you may experience minor discomfort during your adjustments, this pain is likely due to pre-existing injuries and not the adjustment itself. Our practitioners take great care to ensure our treatments are safe, gentle, and tailored to your comfort levels.

Pain is a highly individualized experience. No two injuries or ailments are the same. You may be suffering from an acute injury related to a car accident, or the side effects of a chronic illness. Whatever is causing your discomfort, we work with you one-on-one to pinpoint the source or cause and guide you toward recovery. We approach each patient individually and never offer cookie-cutter treatment plans. Instead, we discover your unique route to healing by listening, evaluating, and working with you.

Our chiropractors are trained specialists in diagnosis and treatment of spine and joint injuries. We also address soft tissue and muscle injuries through supportive massage therapy treatments. Our goal is to provide you a comprehensive treatment plan that gives you the best chance of a pain-free life moving forward.

If your injuries or pain levels are beyond the scope of what chiropractic medicine can appropriately and effectively treat, we refer you to a specialist that can address your injury.

Chiropractic treatments are all-natural, safe, and effective. Whether you are dealing with a chronic disease or acute injury, chiropractic care is a treatment method that is drug-free, non-invasive, and targets and treats the source of your pain.

Auto accidents, sports, work, and everyday activities can leave you with injuries that may not resolve themselves with traditional physical therapy or prescription medications. If you are eager to try a holistic treatment that is safe to engage in both short term and long term, we encourage you to call our office and start with a consultation.

The length of treatment varies from patient to patient. To get a baseline on where your recovery starts, we use biomarkers such as levels of tenderness, joint pain, nerve pain, and x-ray results. These biomarkers help determine the severity of your injury and track your progress. Because biomarkers are unique to each individual, we base the length and frequency of your treatment on the improvement of these markers. Our goal is to help you reach full functioning capacity through your individualized course of treatment.

It is important to know that receiving treatment as quickly as possible for a new injury may result in fewer visits compared to treatment for a long-lasting or chronic injury. For example, if a condition has been bothering you for longer than three months, it may take more treatments to set you on a path to recovery. This is why we encourage you to visit our office as soon as any kind of injury presents itself, especially if you have been in a car accident.

To best determine how long your rehabilitation and recovery will take, give our office a call and schedule a consultation. Most physical injuries don’t resolve themselves on their own without some sort of proactive care. The sooner you receive treatment, the sooner you can experience the restoration and pain-relief you need.

Chiropractic and therapeutic massage treatments are covered under some insurance plans. For auto accident injuries in the state of Oregon, your treatments are covered under your vehicle insurance policy. We accept nearly all health insurance plans for non-vehicle related accidents, and all Oregon auto insurances for accident injuries.
