Dr. Julie Elbon

Clinic Director, Doctor of Chiropractic

I was born and raised in Southern Oregon, but consider Portland my home after spending the last 16 years here. I moved to Portland in 2006 to complete my Bachelors in Human Biology and went to the University of Western States for my doctorate in Chiropractic Medicine. Prior to becoming a chiropractor, I was licensed as an EMT and worked on local film and television productions as a set medic and production assistant.

I joined Columbia Gorge Chiropractic in June of 2020 and over the last few years I have grown to love this clinic and our community. I genuinely care about my team here, and feel incredibly grateful for my position within this constantly changing and growing company.

In my free time you will find me with my best friend, Hector Larry David Jalapeno, the most spoiled and boujee Pomeranian/cocker spaniel/chihuahua/poodle mix on the planet.

Makana

Makana was born and raised in Portland, OR, and graduated with honors from University of Western States in 2017. She has a strong passion for helping her clients recover from their injuries, relax and rebalance muscles, and ultimately lead a pain-free life. When she is not in the clinic, she spends her time outdoors with her husband and 1 year old daughter.

I come from a long line of health care workers, most of the women in my family are involved in the medical field, so caring for others runs in my blood. My mother has been one of my biggest inspirations and has always encouraged me to follow my dreams. I grew up in the wonderful Columbia River Gorge where I developed my love of nature. Being up in the mountains, walking on the trails, or kayaking through the lakes helps me to feel at peace with the world. I also love to snowboard, hike, swim, spend time with my family or playing with my pup. It is my goal as a massage therapist to attend to your concerns and focus on areas of pain and tension while also providing a healthy dose of relaxation. I strive to create an environment free from judgement and work to help you feel more comfortable not only in the treatment room, but in your body. I welcome any feedback about how I can make your session the best it can be!

I was born and raised in Oregon. However with my heritage being from Jalisco, MX I am fluent in both English and Spanish. I enjoy taking advantage of all of the diverse beauty that Oregon has to offer. Outside of work you’ll find me trying out a new food spot, going to a live show, dancing, or spending the day snowboarding up at Mt. Hood. I can’t wait to get to know all of you, and become a part of your healing journey!

Hey there! I’m Aricka! I was born and raised in Southern Oregon. I attended Rogue Community College & obtained my certificate in Massage Therapy in 2018. I have been living in the Portland area since 2019. My goal as a massage therapist is to help others live a pain free life. I feel massage is vital, not only for the body, but for the mind and soul as well. I strive to keep a space that is relaxing, welcoming & respected for patients. I’m excited to be a part of your healing journey and I thank you all for allowing me to work on you. In my free time, I like to hang with my fiancé & our daughter. We enjoy road trips, going to the coast, & being outdoors.

Hello! My name is Hailee, and I come from Southern California. I came to Oregon to pursue college at the University of Oregon in 2021, I graduated with a Bachelors degree in Family Human Services. Ever since then, I have worked in many different fields: child care, assisted living facilities, memory care facilities, and counseling. Now I am happy to embark on a new journey with the chiropractic field and to meet more people that come into the clinic. In my free time I like to be with my dog, Sadie, and husband, Jordan — we enjoy the outdoors, movies, and going to the coast. In the future, I hope to continue my efforts in helping people be the best version of themselves mentally, physically, and spiritually.

Hello! My name is Megan. I grew up in Oregon and moved to Las Vegas to pursue education, graduating in 2015 with an associate’s degree in applied science and completing the Medical Assistant Certification Program through PIMA Medical Institute . I went on to work in various positions in the healthcare industry. After spending 10 long years in the desert, I moved back to Oregon to be closer to family and enjoy the great outdoors. When not in the clinic you can find me spending time with my dog Juggernaut and my cat Duck, reading, or playing videogames. I’m excited to join the team at Columbia Gorge Chiropractic. I can’t wait to get to know every single one of you!
